The person behind the practice.
I've spent my whole career showing up for people in the hardest moments of their lives. Here's how I got here, and why this work matters to me.
Alicia has been a social worker since 2012, working in child protection, family violence advocacy, and mental health. Before that, she spent eight years in law enforcement, primarily on patrol, where she was decorated with the Medal of Valor and a Life Saving Award.
Across both careers, one thread held: she was present for people in the worst moments of their lives. She saw, again and again, how much people carry, and how little space they're given to set it down.
She became a therapist to change that, to help people heal rather than simply survive. Today she draws on EMDR, somatic work, and Internal Family Systems to help trauma survivors, first responders, and anyone holding more than they should.
"Strength isn't measured by how much you can endure alone. Healing is possible, and you deserve the same compassion you so freely give to everyone else."
